Celiac Risk Screen Results
Your child’s cord blood processing results letter indicates whether or not your child carries the genes for celiac disease. See below for what the result means:
(-) Negative Sign
Your child does not carry the genes for celiac disease. Your child cannot develop celiac disease or pass it on to their child.
(+) Positive Sign
Your child has a risk factor for developing celiac disease. It doesn’t mean your child will have celiac disease and the chance of developing celiac disease is still low.
