Within one to two hours after delivery and with the ViaCord collection kit in hand, have a friend or family member call ViaCord at 800-998-4226 to inform us that the delivery and collection are complete. Your Customer Service Representative will review the packaging and labeling of the contents of your kit and ask a few questions about the delivery for your records. This process should take five to ten minutes.
After you’ve notified us of your delivery and reviewed the kit’s contents and pre-printed label, a medical courier will pick up the collection kit from your hospital room and have it delivered to the ViaCord processing and storage lab. We’ll notify you — by email, text, and phone — as soon as your collection kit arrives at our lab. Our lab is located just outside of Cincinnati and only minutes away from a major airport.
