• Lab expertise: We examine the DNA from your sample using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology at our state-of-the-art laboratory.
• Scientific expertise: Your DNA will be interpreted by a team of experts from across the clinical diagnostic arena, including world-renown geneticist Dr. Madhuri Hegde, the former executive Director of the Emory Genetics Laboratory and a full staff of board-certified geneticists and genetic counselors, laboratory scientists certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis, and experts in tandem mass spectrometry.
• Comprehensive Reporting: A list of sequence variants found in your sample will be generated. Variants believed to be disease-causing (pathogenic and likely pathogenic variants) will be presented in your results report to your ordering healthcare professional.
• Support from Beginning to End: In addition to our own Genomic experts, the Genome Medical team will be by your side every step of the way. Genome Medical helps individuals and physicians use DNA test results to understand disease risk and help make informed treatment decisions when necessary.
