The cost of banking cord blood is broken down into two fees: a processing fee and a storage fee. The processing fee for cord blood is $1,725, which includes the collection kit, shipping, and processing of the cord blood at ViaCord's AABB accredited laboratory. The storage fee for cord blood is $175 per year.
How much does cord blood and cord tissue banking cost?
The cost of banking cord blood and tissue is broken into two fees: a processing fee and storage fee. The processing cost for cord blood and cord tissue is $2,595, which includes the collection kit, shipping, and processing of the cord blood at ViaCord's AABB accredited laboratory. The storage fee for cord blood and cord tissue is $350 per year.
Because each family is different (i.e. banking for one child or twins, cord blood and cord tissue or cord blood only), the cost of banking can vary.
