Parent Educator Network (PEN)
Raising Awareness of Cord Blood Banking
As an expectant parent, you made the important decision to preserve your baby’s cord blood with ViaCord. You understand the value in privately storing your baby’s cord blood for your family, and are aware of the power and potential that cord blood stem cells have. Cord Blood banking is a potentially life-saving opportunity that many parents are unaware of. Along with your knowledge and understanding and ViaCord’s Parents Educator Network, PEN, you can help change that.
PEN is an advocacy group comprised of members who are committed to educating expectant parents on the importance of banking their baby’s cord blood. The goal is to provide accurate, objective information so that other families can make an informed decision.
There is no better person then a valued ViaCord parent to spread the word about the benefits of cord blood banking. The opportunity to raise awareness may already present itself on a daily basis because of the type of work you’re in. If you work in a maternity boutique, at an ultrasound facility, in a prenatal fitness center, or are a child birth educator, the chances you have to speak with and educate expectant parents on important topics such as cord blood are countless – and the Parents Educator Network is for you.
PEN provides its members with resources and pointers on how to help educate other parents - really get the message out there. Cord Blood Banking is something every family deserves to know about.
As our way of saying thank you, you will be rewarded for your educational efforts. If you’re interested in learning more, please call our Parents Educator Network program at 617-914-3633.
