How can my friends and family members locate my registry online?
Your friends/family members can search for and find your registry online using your last name and the state that you live in.

How do I get more baby shower cards?
Log-in to your registry account and follow the link to "Print Announcements" to print out baby shower cards


Who can participate in the gift registry?
Anyone enrolled under a ViaCord standard payment plan can participate (excludes Care Credit plans). 


I have overseas relatives; can they make a contribution online?
At this time, our website is not capable of accepting overseas contributions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Does the gift registry include storage?
No, the storage fee is not included on your gift registry account. Collection/processing and shipping fees are included.


How will contributions made to my Gift Registry impact my Payment Plan with ViaCord?
The total amount of gift contributions you receive will be applied to your ViaCord balance (colleciton/processing and shipping fees only), starting with your last scheduled payment.

For example: if you enrolled with ViaCord using our six-month payment plan and received $600 in gift contributions over a period of 3 months, your payments may look like the following:

Can I still participate in the Gift Registry if I paid the processing fee in full? How will I receive my contributions?
Yes. Your contributions will be refunded to your credit card directly approximately 30 days after your Gift Registry is closed.


Can I personally use my gift registry to pay down my account balance?
No. It is not possible to pay down your account balance. If you do make a contribution to your own account ,you still have to adhere to the payment terms you agreed to when enrolling and we will not be able to refund you until 21 days after the registry closes.


Why does my account close 21 days after delivery?
Your account closes approximately 21 days after your child is born so that we may establish your new payment terms. Unfortunately the closing date of your account can not be adjusted. Once your account is closed it will no longer accept additional contributions. You will still be able to log in and check your final total contribution and remaining balance, but you will not be able to send announcements.


What happens if I enroll with ViaCord, receive contributions, but something happens that prevents me from collecting and storing my baby’s cord blood?
All contributions will be refunded to a contributor’s credit card within 30 days.

How do I find my friends/family member's account?
You can look up any registry account by using their last name and state that they live in.

Is a credit card required to make a contribution and is it a secure website?
To contribute to a ViaCord Gift Registry account you need a valid credit card, including the security code found on the back of your credit card. All contributions must be made online. For your protection all credit card transactions are secured with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.


Why do I have to create a new account to make a contribution?
This is so that ViaCord can get in touch with contributors in case we need to process a refund on your card.


Is there a minimum amount for giving a contribution?
Yes, the minimum amount is $25.00.


What happens if the customer's account that I contributed to gets canceled?

In the event that your friend/family member is not able to bank with ViaCord, please call Jennifer Sargent at 800-822-5552 to process your refund. Your refund will be processed within 30 days of the call.


Is there any other way to make a contribution other then making it online?

No, unfortunately, our gift registry is designed to make online transactions only.

How long do I have to contribute towards someone's account?
You have until 21 days after the delivery of the baby to contribute. After 21 days, the gift registry is closed and is no longer available to receive contributions.  

Once I've submitted an online payment, how do I know my contribution was processed?
After you submit your contribution, you will be directed to a confirmation page. You will also receive an email from ViaCord confirming your contribution.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please click the "Submit" button once. Clicking this button more than once may generate multiple contributions.

How will my friend/family member know when I have made a contribution to her account?
She will receive an email from ViaCord informing her that a contribution has been made to her registry.
